Sheikh Rashid seeks report into Lahore blast

ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) - Minister for Interior Sheikh Rashid Ahmed while condemning the blast at New Anarkali, Lahore, on Thursday sought a report from the Punjab Government into the incident, Dunya News reported.
Sheikh Rashid Ahmed, in a statement, expressed deep sorrow and grief over the loss of precious lives in the blast. He also prayed for early recovery of the injured.
At least three people were killed and 29 other were wounded in the bomb blast in Lahore’s Anarkali Bazar on Thursday.
Preliminary report said that the blast took place at 1:40pm and razed a building and destroyed eight motorcycles. Police said that around 1.5 kilograms of explosives were used in the blast. It was further learnt that the explosives were placed on ground between motorcycles.
