Govt inaugurates Mall Brother train between Istanbul, Islamabad, Tehran
ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – Government of Pakistan on Tuesday inaugurated Mall Brother train between Islamabad, Tehran and Istanbul.
According to details, the train will start its journey from Margalla Railways Station. The inauguration ceremony was attended by Foreign Minister (FM) of Pakistan Shah Mehmood Qureshi, Minister of Pakistan Railways Muhammad Azam Khan Swati, Commerce Adviser Abdul Razaq Dawood and counterpart from Turkey Ahsan Mustafa.
On the occasion Shah Mehmood said that the country has entered from geo-politics to geo-economics. Soon the passenger train will also function on same tracks. Azam Swati added the inauguration of Mall Brother train is government’s big achievement. Meanwhile, Commerce Adviser said that soon the country will be able to establish railway tracks till Afghanistan and Europe.
Moreover, the Turkish counterpart said that currently the establishment of travelling and communication means is need of the hour.
"Through trains, the trading between three countries will be boosted," he reiterated.
