LAHORE (Dunya News) Governor Punjab Chaudhry Sarwar on Saturday signed the provincial cabinet approved Punjab Local Bodies Ordinance 2021.
Chaudhry Sarwar said that the new local government system will truly empower public and Prime Minister Imran Khan is fulfulling his promise of delegating power to grass root level.
The governor said that for the first time people will directly elect their mayor.
