Shehbaz condemns torture of party workers at symbolic inauguration of Green Line Bus project

KARACHI (Dunya News) – Pakistan Muslim league-Nawaz (PML-N) President and Opposition Leader in National Assembly (NA) Shehbaz Sharif on Friday has condemned torture of party leader Ahsan Iqbal and other workers in Karachi.
In a statement, Shehbaz Sharif deplored the incident of assaulting the workers as they symbolically inaugurated Green Line Metro Track in Karachi. He said that baton charge was carried out on the directives of Prime Minister (PM) Imran Khan.
The PML-N leader has demanded to sentence the culprits as per law.
On the other hand, Prime Minister Imran Khan is scheduled to inaugurate the Green Line Bus service today.
Governor Sindh Dr Imran Ismail while talking to media along with Federal Minister for Planning and Development Asad Umar in Karachi said that the PPP government in Sindh has not provided a single bus to Karachi in the past 13 years.
