Girls win most positions in Lahore Board's matric exam

Lahore Inter Board has announced matric position-holders. Laraib Farah secured first position.

Girls have once again outperformed boys by securing most positions in matric results. Laraib Farah secured 1022 marks out of 1050 to top in the board. Second position went to Saman Habib with a difference of only one mark. She got 1021 marks. The third position was shared by Taimoor Jafar Ali and Arifa Tahir with 1020 marks each. The announcement of position-holders’ names was made by Lahore Inter Board’s Chairman Dr Akram Kashmiri. Taimoor Jafar Ali remained first in boys science group while Laraib Fatima remained first amongst girls. In arts group boys, Abdul Rehman remained first with 946 marks while Bushra Shafiq got first position amongst girls by securing 980 marks.
