KARACHI (Dunya News) – Sindh government on Tuesday given conditional permission to open educational institutions in the province from Monday, August 23.

Addressing a press conference after the steering committee meeting on Tuesday, Education Minister Syed Sardar Shah said that schools with 100 percent vaccinated staff will be allowed to open from August 23 and the schools will be opened in three-day shifts.

He said that educational institutions would be opened in three-day shifts with 50 percent attendance. Regarding the uniform curriculum, the provincial education minister said that there would be Urdu and English medium in the whole country, adding that they do not know that Sindhi is also taught.

Sardar Shah further said that the process of monitoring in schools would continue.

It may be recalled that in view of the increasing cases of coronavirus in the province, it was decided to close educational institutions.
