PPP demands taking parliament into confidence on Afghanistan situation

KARACHI (Dunya News) - Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) has demanded from government to take the parliament into confidence on Afghanistan.

PPP Chairman Bilawal Bhutto while addressing a press conference said that the parliament should be taken on board on the situation in Afghanistan. He also demanded to review the security of the China Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC), projects.

Bilawal Bhutto said that national action plan should be implemented immediately, CPEC projects are very important for the development of Pakistan. If the government does not pay attention the incidents of terrorism will increase, he warned.

PPP chairman said that Pakistan is not ready to hand over an inch of its land to the terrorists adding that we have to fulfill our constitutional and legal promises.

He said that the people have repeatedly rejected the terrorists in the name of Islam.
