Several ministers to lose portfolios amid Sindh cabinet reshuffle
KARACHI (Dunya News) - Several minister are likely to lose portfolios amid Sindh cabinet reshuffle including Sohail Anwar Sial, Nisar Khorro and Hari Ram, claimed sources.
According to sources, it has been decided to remove Saeed Ghani from the post of information minister which will be handed over to Syed Sardar Shah, while Nasir Shah is also expected to lose the ministry of information, which could be given to Saeed Ghani.
Deciding to withdraw the anti-corruption portfolio from Jam Ikram, Special Assistant Bangal Khan Mehr is likely to be given the anti-corruption post. Sources said that it has been decided to give the portfolio of Universities and Boards and Environment Department to Ismail Rahu.
Mukesh Kumar will be given the portfolio of Food and Gyan Chand will be given the portfolio of Minority Affairs while Timur Talpur will be made the Minister of Forests.
Tanzeela Qambrani is likely to be appointed as Special Assistant to the Chief Minister for Information Technology while Manzoor Wasan as Agriculture Advisor.
Dunya News sources said that it has also been decided to appoint special assistants to the Chief Minister. Riaz Shirazi, Rasool Bakhsh Chandio, Arbab Lutfullah will be made Special Assistant to the Chief Minister.
Sajid Jokhio is likely to be made the provincial minister for social welfare, while Liaquat Askani and Ayaz Mehr will also be made part of the Sindh cabinet.
