PM Imran credits Firdous Ashiq for PTI win in PP-38 by election
PM Imran Khan congratulated Firdous for PTI win in PP-38
ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – Prime Minister Imran Khan has credited Special Assistant to Chief Minister (SACM) Firdous Ashiq Awan for Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) win PP-38 by elections.
According to details, Prime Minister Imran Khan, in a telephonic conversation with SACM Firdous congratulated her for PTI win and said that her work in the constituency has played a major role in party’s triumph.
As per unofficial results, PTI candidate Chaudhry Ahsan Saleem Baryar has won the by-election of PP-38 Sialkot with a margin of 7,117 votes.
Unconfirmed count of all 165 polling stations shows Chaudhry Ahsan Saleem came out on top with 60,588 votes, while Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) candidate came in second place with 53,471 votes.
