The session of Parliamentary Committee came to an end without any consensus.

It could not agree on the selection of a single judge for the Peshawar High Court.The committee was to give approval for six additional judges for the PHC.The Judicial Commission had recommended the names of Khalid Mahmood, Fazl Haq Abbasi, Nasir Hussein Khan, Waqar Ahmad Shah, Qaiser Rasheed and Malik Azmatullah. Today was the last day to finalise the names.According to the rule, if the Parliamentary Committee could not approve the names, the recommendations made by the Judicial Commission would be regarded in effect after 14 days.
