Hammad Azhar lashes out at Bilawal, says immature lecture was delivered on economy
ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – Federal Minister for Energy Hammad Azhar on Friday has lashed out at Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari and said that immature lecture was delivered on economy.
While reacting to the speech of PPP leader in National Assembly, the minister said that no one can wash out the stain of corruption by speaking English. The opposition parties are not digesting the four percent growth, he added.
Hammad Azhar said that Sindh government is being run by an outsider. He further challenged the opposition members to listen to his whole speech.
Meanwhile, Bilawal Bhutto and Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) president and opposition leader in NA Shehbaz Sharif left the House amid Hammad Azhar’s speech.
The reaction came after Bilawal Bhutto said that there is a storm of indirect taxes in the budget presented by the government.
Expressing his views on the budget FY2021-22 during the National Assembly session, Bilawal Bhutto said that the protesting government employees were also deceived in the budget. He said why was there historic poverty in the country despite economic growth.
“You promised to provide one crore jobs, instead there is a rise in unemployment and poverty in the country,” said Bilawal Bhutto adding that the government did not even increase salaries last year.
He further said those who were employed also lost their job during the reign of the incumbent government. He said that the people were drowning in the tsunami of inflation.
