Blaze gutted factory in Gujranwala
Rescue sources said that machinery and goods worth million of rupees were destroyed by the fire.
GUJRANWALA (Dunya News) - According to details, fire broke out in a viper manufacturing factory located in Hassan Town area of Ladhaywala in Gujranwala on Sunday.
The blaze spread and engulfed the entire factory very quickly due to presence of more than two tons of cotton in the building. Ten fire tenders of Rescue 1122 reached the spot and brought the fire under control after a hectic effort five hours.
The rescue sources said that no one died or wounded in the blaze. However, machinery and goods worth million of rupees were destroyed by the fire. Sources further said the fire erupted due to short-circuit.
