Schools reopen in remaining districts of Punjab today

LAHORE (Dunya News) - In Punjab, public and private schools will be reopened in remaining districts including Lahore from today.

Classes will be allowed on alternate days with 50 percent attendance with strict adherence to SOPs against Covid-19.

Earlier Punjab health minister Dr Yasmin Rashid on Sunday had said that the coronavirus positivity ratio across the province has reduced to two percent.

While addressing a press conference, the provincial minister had said that parks and tombs have been opened however, indoor wedding events are still banned. The markets will remain close on Saturdays and Sundays, she added.

Dr Yasmin had said that the coronavirus pandemic can be controlled by implementing standard operating procedures (SOPs). The vaccination process across the province has been sped up, she added.
