PM Imran condemns recent terrorist attacks in Balochistan

PM Imran premier condoled with the martyrs' families and prayed for the departed souls.

ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) - Prime Minister (PM) Imran Khan has strongly condemned the recent terrorist attacks in Balochistan which resulted in the martyrdom of four soldiers and injuries to eight others.

In a post on social-networking platform Twitter on Tuesday, the premier condoled with the martyrs’ families and prayed for the departed souls.

The prime minister said that Pakistan will continue its fight against the terrorists, adding that these elements will not be allowed to sabotage peace and development in Balochistan.

Earlier, at least four Frontier Corps (FC) Balochistan personnel were martyred and eight others were wounded in two separate terrorist attacks in Quetta and Turbat, Inter-Services Public Relations said in a statement.

In the first incident, some unidentified terrorists attacked FC check post near Pir Ismail Ziarat in Quetta during which four FC personnel were martyred and six were wounded. Four to five terrorists were also killed in the exchange of fire while seven to eight were injured.

According to ISPR, the second incident occurred in Turbat where terrorists used explosive material to target an FC vehicle in which two FC officials sustained injuries.
