Homemade vaccine PakVac will be available for vaccination from today
Ministry of Health will launch coronavirus vaccine PakVac for people above 18 years of age.
ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) - Pakistan’s locally-developed COVID-19 vaccine PakVac will be available for nationwide vaccination from today (Tuesday), Dunya News reported.
According to sources, Ministry of Health will launch coronavirus vaccine PakVac for people above 18 years of age. PakVac vaccine has been manufactured by the Ministry of Health with the help of China s Cansino Bio after rigorous quality control checks.
Sources said that concentrate and technical assistance to manufacture PakVac vaccine was provided by China.
The Ministry of Health has initially ordered the Health Department to prepare three million doses of PakVac. Sources said that manufacturing, packing and concentrate for PakVac vaccine are manufactured at the National Institutes of Health
