CM Buzdar for independent observers at Sindh, Punjab barrages

LAHORE (Dunya News) - Chief Minister of Punjab Sardar Usman Buzdar has supported the deployment of independent observers at barrages of Sindh and Punjab barrages in order to end the spat over water distribution between the provinces.
Usman Buzdar, in a statement on Sunday called for appointing the observers to obtain accurate data on water release and said that deployment would help in ensuring just distribution of water among provinces.
CM Punjab also invited the parliamentarians of the Sindh province to visit barrages in Punjab to witness the water distribution and reporting system. Sindh should also invite our lawmakers to their barrages, he added.
