Locals irked by power outage in parts of Karachi
The locals have demanded the district administration to take steps to restore power in their areas.
KARACHI (Dunya News) – The locals in different areas of Karachi are facing immense problems due to unscheduled electricity loadshedding, Dunya News reported on Thursday.
According to details, residents of Malir, Kausar Town, Jamia Islamia, Alfalah, Liaquatabad, Sarjani Town and others are suffering from power outages for the past three hours.
The residents of the areas have demanded the district administration to take steps to restore power in their areas.
On the other hand, spokesman of K-Electric has informed that power supply has been restored in Jahangir Road, Malir, Khokhrapar, PIB Colony, Nazimabad and Shah Faisal areas.
He further informed that there is no loadshedding in Saddar, Gulshan, Gulistan Johar and University Road areas. He said that there are local faults in some areas which will be removed by K-Electric staff and power will be restored very soon.
