25 NADRA employees arrested for issuing NICs to foreigners
Criminal cases have been registered against the suspects.
LAHORE (Dunya News) – 25 employees of National Database and Registration Authority (NADRA) have been arrested for allegedly issuing illegal national identity cards to foreign nationals.
According to sources, registration of four foreigners and aliens was unearthed in Karachi, Rawalpindi and Sargodha. An operation was launched against corrupt mafia on intelligence report of security institutions.
25 employees of the authority were arrested after registration of criminal cases. Further investigations are underway and LEAs have launched an operation to arrest other members of the group.
