Sheikh Rashid, Sindh CM Murad discuss law and order situation

KARACHI (Dunya News) – Federal Minister for Interior Sheikh Rashid on Thursday has arrived at Chief Minister (CM) House and met Sindh CM Murad Ali Shah.

The interior minister has discussed law and order situation in the province and other important matters with the CM.  Both the leaders have agreed on launching operation against dacoits in Kacha area.

Earlier, Sheikh Rashid Ahmed had visited Sindh Rangers Headquarters during his visit to Karachi to review security situation following the directions of Prime Minister Imran Khan.

Director General Sindh Rangers Major General Iftikhar Hassan Chaudhry welcomed Sheikh Rashid Ahmed on reaching the Sindh Rangers Headquarters. The Federal Interior Minister was accompanied by Secretary Interior Yousuf Naseem Khokhar during the visit.

He was briefed on the overall law and order situation in Sindh province including Karachi at Rangers headquarters. Suggestions for improving the law and order situation in Sindh also came under discussion.

Speaking on the occasion, Sheikh Rashid said that Karachi is the backbone of Pakistani economy and we will ensure law and order here. Sheikh Rashid also lauded the role of Sindh Rangers in maintaining law and order in Karachi.
