Blast kills six after pro-Palestinian rally in Chaman

CHAMAN (Dunya News) – At least six persons have been killed and 14 others injured by a bomb at a pro-Palestinian rally in  Balochistan’s Chaman city, officials said.

Reportedly, the explosion took place near Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam (JUI) Nazryati leader Maulana Abdul Qadir Luni’s vehicle. Police sources confirmed that JUI leader has also sustained injuries in the incident.

"It was an improvised explosive device which went off as participants began to disperse," said Tariq Mengal, a senior local administration official in Chaman. A second official confirmed the incident and toll.

Injured persons have been moved to nearby hospitals. Five are reportedly in critical condition.
