PPP delegation meets Palestinian ambassador
ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) - A delegation of Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) met the Palestinian Ambassador in Islamabad and assured him of full support and solidarity.
PPP Secretary General Nayyar Hussain Bukhari and former Prime Minister Raja Pervaiz Ashraf called on the Palestinian Ambassador and expressed full support and solidarity of the party with the Palestinian people.
Nayyar Bukhari said that the silence of the international community on Israeli violence, oppression and barbarism against the Palestinians is a matter of concern, violence against the Palestinians should be stopped immediately.
He said that the international community should be mobilized to stop the Israeli violence against the Palestinians. Shaheed Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto raised the issue of Palestine in the United Nations for the first time. PPP will continue to raise the issue of Palestine in every international forum, he added.
Former Prime Minister Raja Pervaiz Ashraf said that PPP stands with the people of Palestine, will continue to highlight the issue through diplomatic channels, PPP will raise the issue of ongoing Israeli atrocities in Palestine in Parliament, he assured.
