Ahsan Iqbal's name included in ECL in Narowal Sports City case
LAHORE (Dunya News) – Federal Cabinet, through circulation summary, has approved to put Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) leader Ahsan Iqbal on Exit Control List (ECL) in Narowal Sports City case.
The interior ministry has included the name of PML-N leader in no-fly list on the request of National Accountability Bureau (NAB).
Earlier in December, 2020, Ahsan Iqbal was indicted in Narowal Sports Complex reference.
It is to be mentioned here that the anti-graft watchdog had alleged the PML-N leader of illegally initiating a project of Rs 3 billion in Narowal and causing a loss worth billions to the national exchequer.
NAB claimed to have received a complaint that the Narowal Sports City was constructed at a cost of approximately Rs6 billion, which was a violation of rules.
