PM Imran to chair federal cabinet meeting today
The federal cabinet will discuss an 8-point agenda during the meeting.
ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) - The federal cabinet will meet today (Tuesday) in Islamabad to discuss the coronavirus situation, vaccination process as well as country’s economic and political situation, Dunya News reported.
Prime Minister Imran Khan will preside over the federal cabinet meeting to be held at the Prime Minister’s office. The cabinet will discuss an 8-point agenda during the meeting.
According to sources, the meeting would approve the appointment of production control manager at Heavy Industry Taxila while a summary of the reduction in prisoners’ sentences on the occasion of Eid-ul-Fitr will be submitted for approval.
Sources said that the cabinet would also give nod to the deployment of Pakistan Army in aid of civil administration.
Appointment of CEO of Railway Construction Pakistan Limited is also part of agenda of the meeting besides the cabinet will also mulling over the participation of the private sector in railways.
