7,986 kilns converted to Zig Zag technology to reduce pollution: CM
LAHORE (Dunya News) - Punjab Chief Minister Sardar Usman Buzdar has said that 7,986 kilns have been converted to Zig Zag technology across the province which will reduce the pollution from kilns by 60%.
Usman Buzdar in his tweet said that air pollution caused by brick kilns in Punjab especially around Lahore was a big problem and the kilns had to be shut down for 4 months of winter.
While thanking to the efforts of his team he said that all 7,986 kilns in Punjab have been converted to Zig Zag technology.
