Saudi further increases travel restrictions on Pakistan, four other countries

Saudi nationals and iqama-holders may return to the kingdom in the next 72 hours.

ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) - Saudi Arabia on Friday further increased restrictions on travelers from Pakistan, India, Indonesia, Sri Lanka and the Philippines to contain the spread of coronavirus pandemic in the Kingdom, Dunya News reported.

General Authority of Civil Aviation (GACA) has issued notification containing new travel guidelines. According to notification, Saudi nationals and iqama-holders may return to the kingdom in the next 72 hours. After that, no passenger will be allowed to enter the country.



In the notification, GACA has also mentioned the imposition of temporary travel bans on European Union countries and Switzerland.
