Nation indebted to heroes of police force: PM Imran Khan
ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – Prime Minister Imran Khan on Friday paid tribute to the country’s police force for valiantly facing off with charged protesters of the banned outfit Tehreek-e-Labbaik Pakistan (TLP).
In his tweet, the Prime Minister said that he pays special tribute to the police force for their heroic stand against organised violence by the banned TLP, intended to create chaos and blackmail the government.
He said that four police personnel embraced martyrdom and over 600 sustained injuries. “Our nation is indebted to these heroes & we will look after the families of the martyrs”, he added.
