Rift in PDM emerged after issuance of show cause notice: Saleem

ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) leader Saleem Mandviwalla on Wednesday said that JUI-F head Maulana Fazl-ur-Rehman should step forward to end rift in opposition’s Pakistan Democratic Movement (PDM).

Talking to media persons in federal capital, Saleem Mandviwalla said that differences emerged in opposition alliance after issuance of show cause notice and stressed that no party has a right to send a notice to any other political party.

The PPP leader also lashed out at National Accountability Bureau (NAB) and said that the anti-graft watchdog is behind worsening economic situation of country and urged political parties to reform laws governing the bureau.

He also claimed that NAB pressurizes businessmen for plea bargain and arrests people without any evidence or proof.
