Federal Cabinet approves ordinance to end HEC autonomy
ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) - The federal government has decided to formally end Higher Education Commission (HEC) autonomy by making it a subordinate to Ministry of Education.
According to sources, all future decisions of the Higher Education Commission (HEC) will be subject to the approval of the Ministry of Education. The federal cabinet has approved an ordinance on HEC.
