Polices of PTI are endangering lives: PPP Chairman
KARACHI (Dunya News) – Chairman of Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) Bilawal Bhutto Zardari on Wednesday said that provision of health facilities is right of every person but government of Prime Minister Imran Khan is endangering lives of Pakistan.
PPP Chairman, in his message on World Health Day, said that government has made unjustifiable increase in prices of medicines and neo-liberal policies of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) are damaging every citizen.
Bilawal Bhutto further said that two ministers of Imran Khan’s cabinet were removed on charges of corruption but no legal action was taken against them. Both of them were involved in scandal regarding import and price hike of medicines, he added.
It is pertinent to mention here that April 7 of each year marks the celebration of World Health Day. From its inception at the First Health Assembly in 1948 and since taking effect in 1950, the celebration has aimed to create awareness of a specific health theme to highlight a priority area of concern for the World Health Organization.
