PML-N respects ANP's decision to part ways with PDM: Marriyum Aurangzeb

LAHORE (Dunya News) - Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) spokesperson Marriyum Aurangzeb has said that her party respects Awami National Party (ANP)’s decision to part ways with the Pakistan Democratic Movement (PDM).

Talking to Dunya News after ANP’s announcement, the PML-N spokesperson said that Pakistan Democratic Movement (PDM) was formed by ten parties for a larger purpose against the government and although they respect ANP’s decision, they were saddened by the announcement.

She said that PDM had served show cause notices to ANP and PPP to give them a chance to clarify their position after the leader of opposition in the Senate was appointed with the help of government ally Balochistan Awami Party (BAP).

Reacting to the announcement, Federal Interior Minister Sheikh Rashid said that Pakistan People’s Party was on the right track and busy in preparations for the next elections while the ship of PDM is on the rocks and nearing its end.
