3568 virus patients critically ill, highest since pandemic started: Asad
Pakistan has reported over 5000 coronavirus cases in last 24 hours.
ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – Federal Minister for Planning and Development Asad Umar has said that as of yesterday 3,568 patients of coronavirus patients were in critical care across country and revealed that it is the highest number since the pandemic started in the country.
National Command and Operation Center (NCOC) head Asad Umar, in a tweet, stressed on the need of strong enforcement of coronavirus related Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and urged people to take precautions and cooperate with administration.

It merits mention that Pakistan has reported over 5000 coronavirus cases and 81 deaths in last 24 hours. Number of positive cases has surged to 687,908. The nationwide tally of fatalities has jumped to 14,778 on Sunday.
Punjab remains the worst-hit province in terms of deaths followed by Sindh and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
Till now 6,572 individuals have lost their lives to the epidemic in Punjab 4,509 in Sindh, 2,440 in KP, 579 in Islamabad, 364 in Azad Kashmir, 211 in Balochistan, and 103 in GB.
Furthermore 266,378 coronavirus cases have been confirmed in Sindh, 231,073 in Punjab, 91,439 in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, 60,911 in Islamabad, 19,734 in Balochistan, 13,321 in Azad Kashmir and 5,052 in Gilgit-Baltistan.
