Karachi: Micro smart lockdown in areas of Central District extended till April 8

The lockdown has been imposed after identification of hotspot areas by the district health officer.

KARACHI (Dunya News) – The Micro smart lockdown in areas of Central District in Karachi has been extended for two days, i.e., April 8 due to spike in COVID-19 cases, Dunya News reported on Thursday.

According to the notification, the micro smart lockdown which was imposed on Wedneday will remain implemented in five union councils and units of North Karachi, North Nazimabad and Liaquatabad till April 8.

The lockdown has been imposed after identification of hotspot areas by the district health officer.

The locals have been directed wear facemasks and maintain social distance in the affected areas while unnecessary locomotion and pillion riding have been banned. Business and industrial activities along with public gatherings are not allowed. The covid positive individuals will remain under quarantine at homes.
