CM Sindh chairs meeting of industry, culture, home affairs ministries
Officials of industry, culture and home affairs ministries briefed CM Sindh on ongoing schemes.
KARACHI (Dunya News) – Sindh Chief Minister Murad Ali Shah on Thursday chaired a high level meeting in which various schemes and projects of industry, culture and home affairs ministries were reviewed, Dunya News reported.
According to sources, the minister and officials of industry, culture and home affairs ministries briefed the Chief Minister on the progress of ongoing schemes in their respective ministry.
Provincial Minister for Culture, Tourism and Antiquities Sardar Shah briefed CM Sindh on the progress of schemes. He said that a summer resort was being constructed on Gorakh Hill with a cost of Rs 3 billion.
He said that 90 percent construction work on Gorakh Hill resort has been comleted. He further said that that Rs 830 million have been allocated for 44 schemes of Department of Culture, Tourism and Antiquities.
Sources said that the meeting was also informed that Sindh Industries Department has a total number of 11 schemes worth more than Rs 4 billion.
Meanwhile, IG Police and Additional Chief Secretary also attended the review meeting of Home Department schemes. The meeting was informed that the Home Department has a total of 49 schemes, including 42 ongoing and seven new schemes.
