Karachi: Micro smart lockdown imposed in areas of Kemari District

The lockdown has been imposed in five UCs of two sub-divisions of Kemari District.

KARACHI (Dunya News) – The deputy commissioner of the Kemari District of Karachi has Wednesday imposed micro smart lockdown in five Union Councils of two sub-divisions of Kemari District to stop the spread of coronavirus, Dunya News reported.

According to the notification released today, at least localities in five Union Councils of two sub-divisions of Kemari District in Karachi have been placed under micro smart lockdown with an immediate effect until April 4.

The locals have been directed wear facemasks and maintain social distance in the affected areas while unnecessary locomotion and pillion riding have been banned.

The notification also said that business and industrial activities along with public gatherings are not allowed. The covid positive individuals will remain under quarantine at homes.
