Pakistan has so far conducted 9,773,993 coronavirus tests

LAHORE (Dunya News) - Pakistan has reported 44 deaths in the last 24 hours by novel coronavirus as the number of positive cases has surged to 626,802. The nationwide tally of fatalities has jumped to 13,843 on Sunday.

According to the latest figures by the National Command and Operation Center (NCOC) 3,667 persons tested positive for COVID-19 in the past 24 hours.


Province-wise Details


Sindh remains the worst-hit province by the pandemic in terms of cases followed by Punjab, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Islamabad.

Till now 263,058 coronavirus cases have been confirmed in Sindh, 197,177 in Punjab 79,245 in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, 51,414 in Islamabad, 19,327 in Balochistan, 11,609 in Azad Kashmir and 4,972 in Gilgit-Baltistan.

Furthermore 5,974 individuals have lost their lives to the epidemic in Punjab 4,479 in Sindh, 2,208 in KP, 543 in Islamabad, 333 in Azad Kashmir, 203 in Balochistan, and 103 in GB.


Tests and Recoveries


Pakistan has so far conducted 9,773,993 coronavirus tests and 41,960 in the last 24 hours. 581,852 coronavirus patients have recovered in the country whereas 2,900 patients are in critical condition.
