Govt to impose micro smart lockdown in four Peshawar localities
No gatherings are allowed in these areas.
PESHAWAR (Dunya News) –Local government has decided to impose a micro smart lockdown in four neighborhoods of the provincial capital after surge in coronavirus cases.
According to notification, smart lockdown has been imposed in Street 9 of Sector E-11 Phase I and Street 5 of Sector F-V Phase VI Hayatabad, Street 3 of Gulbahar 4 and Street 11 of Defense Colony.
It further said that no general entry or exit to these localities by any person, except those supplying essential commodities, shall be allowed.
“All types of gatherings within these localities are strictly prohibited. All shops other than those of essential services (pharmacies, general stores, food supplies, tandoors, drinking water supplies, emergency etc.) shall remain closed within these localities. Congregation in mosques shall be restricted to five persons only.
The notification further said that anyone violating the restrictions will be booked under sections 17 and 18 of the KP Epidemic Control and Emergency Relief Act 2020 and Section 33 of the National Disaster Management Authority Act, 2010.
