Fire destroys chemical warehouse in Karachi
Chemicals and other valuables worth million of rupees were destroyed by the fire.
KARACHI (Dunya News) – Fire broke out at a chemical warehouse located in the Site Area of Karachi on late Tuesday night and spread very quickly and engulfed the entire building, Dunya News reported.
Rescue teams, six fire brigade vehicles and a snorkel reached the spot after getting information and brought the fire under control after a hectic effort of three hours.
Rescue sources said that no casualty was reported in the incident, however, chemicals and other valuables worth million of rupees were destroyed by the fire. Rescue sources also informed that the cause of fire is not yet known.
