Zalmay Khalilzad meets COAS General Qamar Javed Bajwa
RAWALPINDI (Dunya News) - US Special Representative for Afghanistan Reconciliation Zalmay Khalilzad called on Army Chief General Qamar Javed Bajwa and discussed issues of mutual interest and the region’s overall security situation.
According to ISPR, apart from security issues, the matters of Afghan peace process and both countries’ role in its progress were also discussed.
Zalmay Khalilzad commended Pakistan’s efforts for peace in the region.
Commander Resolute Force in Afghanistan General Austin Miller was also present during the meeting.
