Everyone wants to get rid of 'Wasim Akram Plus': Bilawal

LAHORE (Dunya News) - Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari has said that everyone wants to get rid of ‘Wasim Akram Plus’ and an ideal Chief Minister of Punjab.

According to details, Bilawal Bhutto s political activities for in-house change in Punjab have intensified. He had an important meeting with opposition leader in Punjab Assembly Hamza Shahbaz in Lahore in this regard.

The two leaders also discussed the election of the Chairman Senate and the anti-government march.

Addressing a joint press conference after the meeting, Bilawal Bhutto said that the vote of confidence was a reflection of the fear inside the Prime Minister. The President admitted that Imran Khan had lost his majority. He demanded that there should be an inquiry into the counting of members regarding vote of confidence.

Bilawal Bhutto said that he has learned a lot from the Senate elections. He said that PDM will decide when and where to table motion of no-confidence. We have to fight the puppet together with the people and the parliament, he added.

He said that we got a great victory in the senate election, now we are trying to win the chairman senate election. Decisions will be taken after consultation from the PDM platform.

Bilawal said that ever senator would be contacted for vote in chairman Senate election adding that he will go to the house of chaudhry brothers personally and ask for vote.

Talking on the occasion, Opposition Leader in the Punjab Assembly Hamza Shahbaz said that all issues were discussed during the meeting with Bilawal Bhutto. He said that the destination of PDM was not long march or no-confidence.

Hamza Shahbaz said that the situation in the country today is that, thousands of people have been deprived of free cancer drugs. Twenty-eight years later, wheat and sugarcane production is at an all-time low.

"Inflation and the state of the economy are very bad," he said. Hamza Shahbaz Sharif said that I value Mohtarma Benazir Bhutto very much, she was a brave woman. We learned a lot from the Charter of Democracy.
