In past, fingers were raised on transparency of elections of Senate: Asad Qaiser

LAHORE (Dunya News) – Speaker of National Assembly Asad Qaiser on Monday said that federal government believes in transparency in Senate elections.

As per details, Asad Qaider met Chief Minister and Governor of Punjab to discuess overall political and economic situation of the country.

During the meeting, the speaker lauded unopposed election of Senate candidate from Punjab and said that election of candidates from other provinces according to their party seats will prove to be a step towards transparent elections.

He further said that in the past, fingers were raised on transparency of elections of the upper house of the parliament.
