PTI government saved Rs 4,748 billion in two and a half years
LAHORE (Web Desk) - During its two-and-a-half years in power, Prime Minister Imran Khan’s government has saved Rs 4,748 billion of the national exchequer.
This was announced by Federal Minister for Energy Omar Ayub in a tweet on Saturday, adding that actions speak louder than words.
Sharing the figures on Twitter, he wrote that the PTI government has saved $1.5 billion (Rs 248 billion) in the Karke case.
Moreover, the country saved $3 billion (Rs 500 billion) due to better LNG deals and further $24 billion (Rs 4,000 billion) because of revised IPP deals in government and private sectors.
