NOWSHERA (Dunya News) – Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) candidate Mian Muhammad Umar Kakakhel on Monday has moved Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) against rigging in PK-63 Nowshera by-elections.

The PTI leader has claimed that 6000 votes in the constituency were missing. We have submitted clear and undeniable proofs in ECP, he told.

It is to be mentioned here that Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) candidate Ikhtiar Wali had won the PK-63 by-polls with 21,122 votes while PTI’s Mian Umar was able to secure 17,023 votes.

Earlier, Defense Minister Pervez Khattak had also alleged that the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) won the Nowshera by-elections by rigging.

He said that what happened in Nowshera election will be revealed soon. We will go to election commission to prove that there was a fraud in the PS-63 Nowshera by-election, he added.

The Defense Minister claimed that the PML-N cast 6,000 fake votes, there was no record of those votes and that all the lists were checked in two days and their theft was caught.
