COAS Gen Qamar Bajwa meets Chinese Ambassador Nong Wrong
RAWALPINDI (Dunya News) - Chief of Army Staff General Qamar Javed Bajwa on Thursday met with Chinese Ambassador to Pakistan Nong Rong. Issues pertaining to promotion of bilateral relations were discussed in the meeting.
According to Inter Services Public Relations (ISPR), the Army Chief also appreciated China’s role and cooperation in the field of defense and security as well as its unwavering support to Pakistan on various international forums.
General Bajwa said that the completion of CPEC projects would bring benefits for people of both the countries and also contribute to their prosperity.
ISPR said that the two also discussed regional security situation during the meeting. Army Chief General Qamar Javed Bajwa also thanked China for providing coronavirus vaccines to Pakistan.
