PPP forms board to decide candidates for Senate elections
The board will review applications of party candidates.
KARACHI (Dunya News) – Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) has formed a parliamentary board to decide candidates of the party for upcoming elections of the upper house of the parliament.
The notification issued after approval of Chairman PPP Bilawal Bhutto Zardari, appoints former prime minister Yousaf Raza Gillani, Raja Pervaiz Ashraf, Syed Nayyar Bukhari, Farhatullah Babar, all provincial heads and general secretaries of the party.
The board will review applications of party candidates before taking final decision on the tickets.
