JUI suggests holding long march in second week of March
ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) - Opposition party Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam (JUI-F) has proposed the second week of March as the opportune time to hold PDM’s anti-government long march.
According to sources, a six-hour long meeting of JUI-F was held under the chairmanship of Maulana Fazlur Rehman to review the current political situation and work out future course of action.
It was decided at the meeting that the final decision regarding long march would be taken by Pakistan Democratic Movement (PDM)’s collective leadership.
The JUI meeting also scheduled consultations on the Senate election and the no-confidence motion proposed by the PPP.
