ECP makes nomination papers for Senate elections available
The electoral program for the Senate elections will be issued on February 11.
ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – The Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) has on Wednesday made the nomination papers for the upcoming Senate elections available and the electoral program will be issued on February 11.
According to the ECP, nomination papers for Islamabad seats can be received from the Secretariat whereas for provincial seats, the papers are available at offices of all provincial election commissioners.
The candidates have been directed to affix party ticket with their nomination papers at the time of submission. Independent candidates are given exemption to attach party ticket.
Furthermore, the ECP has allowed the candidates to spend Rs 1.5 million on elections and directed them to open specific account in any bank in this regard. They will not be permitted to spend from any other account.
