Insaf Lawyers Wing senior leader Shahid Naseem dies of COVID-19
Shahid Naseem Gondal was chief law officer of the Capital Development Authority, Islamabad.
ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – Senior leader of Insaf Lawyers Wing (lawyers wing of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf) Shahid Naseem Gondal died from the novel coronavirus on Saturday, Dunya News reported.
Shahid Naseem Gondal contracting the coronavirus a month ago and was under treatment at a hospital in Rawalpindi where he died on Saturday due to complications caused by Covid-19.
Shahid Naseem Gondal was a famous Lawyer and chief law officer of the Capital Development Authority, Islamabad.
Prime Minister Imran Khan on Saturday expressed grief over the death of Shahid Naseem Gondal. "Saddened to learn of Shahid Gondal s passing. He was one of our most loyal workers who stood with us during our struggle against the political mafias. My condolences & prayers go to his family," PM wrote in his tweet.
