Results of general elections of 2018 should be declared nullified: Ahsan Iqbal

ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) senior leader Ahsan Iqbal on Monday claimed that Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) hid funds that were received from Israel and India from Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP).

Talking to media persons, Ahsan Iqbal said that State Bank of Pakistan (SBP) provided details of bank accounts that were not revealed by PTI. He further said that decision of cases of PTI should be announced soon as case of Faisal Vawda has not made any progress for several months.

The PML-N leader further claimed that PTI acknowledged foreign funding in scrutiny committee but blamed its agents for that. Funding of millions of rupees created instability in the politics of country, he added.

Ahsan Iqbal further said that results of general elections of 2018 should be declared nullified. He further said that opposition does not want to spread unrest and peaceful protest will be held outside the election commission office to demand decision regarding foreign funding case of PTI.
