Blaze in house kills four of a family in Lahore
Fire brigade and rescue teams reached the spot and brought the fire under control.
LAHORE (Dunya News) – Four members of the same family were killed when fire broke out at a house located in Shahid Colony at the Wahdat Road area of Lahore on Thursday night, Dunya News reported.
According to details, the fire erupted when some cloths toched the gas heater and engulf the entire hose very quickly. The deceased included 52-year-old Rukhsana, her grandsons Hanan and Hadi and granddaughter Abeera.
Fire brigade and rescue teams reached the spot after getting information and brought the fire under control. Rescue teams shifted the dead bodies to hospital.
According to SP Iqbal Town, Capt (Retd) Muhammad Ajmal, the fire erupted at the ground floor of the house during and the grandmother tried her best to save the children.
On the other hand, Punjab Chief Minister Usman buzdar has expressed regret over the loss of precious lives.
