QUETTA (Dunya News) - Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari has said that in this hour of sorrow and grief, I stand with Hazara community and share the grief of the affected families. He demanded justice for the community.
To express solidarity with the families of the martyrs of the Hazara community, Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari has on Thursday joined their sit-in in Quetta.
Speaking to the protesters Bilawal Bhutto Zardari said that Pakistan is a country and a land where even corpses have to protest. What can I say to my Hazara brothers and sisters in this hour of sorrow. Our government is gone, another government has come, you are protesting with the martyrs again.
"We fired the government when you protested with 100 bodies," the PPP chairman said. Now its Imran khan’s government and you are protesting with the martyrs again. Your demand is the same that let the Hazara brothers live.
"It feels like our blood is cheap," he said. Since 1999, 2,000 members of the Hazara community have been martyred, but not a single martyr has received justice.
Massacres are carried out by looking at their identity cards. He appealed to the state to give justice to the patriots.
"I also belong to a martyred family," he said. We have not been able to bring justice to our martyrs. He said that you are my brothers and I promise to support you for the rest of my life.
